The Department of Sociology invites applications for a position in the sociology of sexuality and gender at the rank of assistant professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2019. Applicants must have a PhD in Sociology or related field by the time of appointment. The ideal candidate will have an active research agenda embracing an intersectional approach, and a demonstrated promise of excellence in teaching. The department is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
