DESCRIPTION
The Department of French and Italian at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses in the Department of French and Italian for upcoming openings. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department.

Applicants should possess a minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent foreign degree, in an appropriate field, and one year of teaching experience in a college or university at the time of application. Native-level proficiency in Italian is required. Applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, and contact information for 3 references. Statement of teaching and teaching evaluations are optional (and will be required for finalists).

The Program is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
