The Department of Economics at UC Santa Barbara invites applications for the Richard F. Aster Jr. Chair in Economics at the Associate or Full Professor. The department will review completed applications on November 1, 2021. This position will remain opened until filled.
The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service as appropriate to the position.
Ph.D. in Economics or related field by time of application.
Currently holds the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Economics or a related field.
Demonstrated research program that advances the study of economics.
