Position description
The Department of Art at the University of California, Santa Barbara, invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach lower and upper-division lecture courses on Art. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The availability of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the department's needs.
The University is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service as appropriate to the position.
The posting will remain open until March 31, 2023, to accommodate department needs. The pool will close on March 31, 2023; if you would like to continue to be considered after that time and the pooled position is advertised again, you will need to submit a new application.

Qualifications
An MA in Art or a related field
More than one year of teaching experience is required.
Preferred qualifications:
- A PhD in Art or a related field is desirable
- Two to three years of teaching experience
