Position description
The Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach one or more graduate-level courses for master’s students pursuing professional degrees in Environmental Data Science and/or Environmental Science and Management in Environmental Data Science, Advanced Data Analysis, Geographic Information Systems, Environmental Data Visualization, Environmental Planning, Life Cycle Assessment, Business and the Environment, Energy and Climate, Applied Population Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Biogeochemistry, Microbial Processes, Environmental Economics, Cost Benefit Analysis, Environmental Justice, Environmental Communication, and Environmental Negotiation. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The availability of positions varies from quarter to quarter, depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from17-33% time for one quarter. Appointments are variable percentage (generally ) with the possibility of an annual reappointment. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications
Applicants must have at least (1) a Master's Degree or (2) a Bachelor's Degree and three years of work experience in the environmental field.
PhD in a relevant field and some teaching experience is preferred.
Training and experience teaching in the relevant field.
