Position description

Areas of specialization: General Physics. Position is open until filled.

Applications are invited for possible temporary lecturer positions. The main duties will be teaching first courses in general physics and astronomy, with the possibility of occasional upper-division teaching opportunities. Applicants should have at least an MA in Physics or Astronomy and teaching experience at the college level.

Applications will be kept active for consideration for all appropriate vacancies within the department for Summer 2014 and the 2014-15 academic year (June 1, 2014 – August 31, 2015.) Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining unit.
