Position description

The Department of Economics invites applications for the Walter J. Mead Chair in Economics. The appointment to the Mead Chair will be made at the full professor or associate professor level to a distinguished scholar in Economics. The position is open to exceptional candidates in all fields. Applicants should submit curriculum vitae and the names of three references. For primary consideration, apply by January 15, 2016 for a July 1, 2016 effective date. Thereafter, the position is open until filled. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
