Position description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for temporary research positions (Project Scientist Series and Professional Research Series). Appointments are subject to availability of funding and departmental needs. Apply by February 29, 2016 for primary consideration; however, applications will be kept active for consideration within the department for one year. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department. Applicants must resubmit a new application letter each year beginning November 1 to retain eligibility.

This position requires demonstrated significant, original, and creative contributions to a research or creative program or project.

Applicants must possess a doctorate or its equivalent in engineering, or the physical or biological sciences.

Desired qualifications include an outstanding research record or demonstrated research in the areas of: Computer Engineering, Communications, Control & Signal Processing, or Electronics and Photonics.

The salary is dependent upon qualifications.
