The Department of Feminist Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for temporary lecturer positions (part-time) for the 2016-17 academic year. Primary consideration date, September 15, 2016, thereafter open until filled, contingent on availability of funding and enrollment. We accept applications for all areas of our curriculum but have a particular need for the following courses:

Successful applicants will have an M.A. or Ph.D. and have a minimum of one year of teaching experience in Feminist Studies and/or a record of teaching in Feminist Studies or related field. Applicants should demonstrate research and teaching interests in the intersections of race, class, gender, global feminism and cultural difference. Application review will begin September 15, 2016 and will remain open in order to staff courses as they become available. Applications will remain on file until October 31, 2016.
