Position description

The Chemical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking applications as part of an external, open-level search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor position with a start date of July 1, 2018 or later. Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in chemical engineering or a related field upon the start date.

Application packages should include a completed CV, contact information for 3-5 references, and a cover letter (limited to 2 pages) highlighting overall goals and vision, and how our institution is particularly well-suited to achieving these goals. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
