The Materials Department in the College of Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor position (tenure-track) in Materials.
Outstanding candidates should demonstrate the ability to build a world-class research program, addressing both scientific and technological issues, in soft, biological, and biologically inspired materials systems. Candidates with experience in experimental or computational methods for modeling, characterization and/or synthesis are encouraged to apply.
Must hold a Ph.D in a science or engineering field by the time of appointment.
