The Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology (CCSP) in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with a specialty in counseling psychology to begin July 1, 2018. Responsibilities will include (a) research and grant-writing (b) graduate and undergraduate teaching, (c) doctoral student advising, (d) mentoring undergraduate students, and (e) university and public service.

Our doctoral program in Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association. We seek applicants who can contribute to the CCSP vision and mission (https://www.education.ucsb.edu/ccsp). The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. Preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited program. It is desirable that candidates will be license eligible or licensed in the state of California.

The GGSE offers masters and doctoral degrees from the Department of Counseling, Clinical and School Psychology and the Department of Education, as well as teaching credentials and masters of education degrees from the Teacher Education Program. The School also offers three undergraduate minors: Educational Studies, Applied Psychology, and Science & Mathematics Education.
