Description

The Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara invites applications for a pool of qualified junior specialists to conduct research in all our disciplines including Development, Econometrics, Environmental, Experimental, Finance, Health, Industrial Organization, International, Labor, Macroeconomics, Public, and Theory. Please refer to our website for a listing of research specialties at www.econ.ucsb.edu. Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies depending on the needs of the department. Positions may range from part-time to 100% time. Qualified applicants must possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's degree in economics or relevant field at the time of initial appointment. Preferred qualifications: at least 2 years of previous research experience in a relevant field. Appointments are temporary and variable with the possibility of reappointment based on department need. Positions will remain open until filled.
