UCSB’s Bren School invites applications for temporary, part-time lecturers who can teach one or more graduate-level courses for master’s degree students pursuing a professional degree in Environmental Science and Management. Areas of instruction may include Corporate Environmental Management, Business Strategy, Financial Management and Environmental Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Eco-Entrepreneurship, Environmental Politics and Policy, Coastal Marine Policy and Management, Water Resources Management, Environmental Planning, Land Use and Environmental Law, Energy Systems and Policy, Climate Science and Policy, Environmental Economics, Environmental Risk Management, Pollution Prevention and Remediation, Ecotoxicology, Quantitative Methods, Remote Sensing, Environmental Negotiation, Environmental Equity, and Environmental Communication.

Applicants must possess an appropriate master’s degree or equivalent at the time of application in order to be considered; PhD degree preferred. Applicants should have training and experience teaching in the relevant field. Appointments are variable percentage (generally 17-33% time for one quarter) with the possibility of an annual reappointment. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and any appropriate collective bargaining agreement.
