As part of a coordinated team, the librarians will advance online learning initiatives and engage with campus stakeholders to incorporate, promote, and assess information literacy in the curriculum.

In addition to in-person and virtual course-integrated instruction sessions, the Teaching & Learning Librarians serve in a consultative capacity to fellow library employees through one-on-one meetings and workshops to support their teaching. They will develop, maintain, and manage digital learning assets used for a variety of instructional approaches within the Library’s Instruction Program. To complement these applied pedagogical approaches, the librarians will engage in professional growth activities to continuously cultivate expertise in educational learning theory, instructional design, instructional technology, and reflective teaching practices. As a part of a team-based unit, Teaching & Learning members engage in programmatic outreach initiatives emphasizing first-year and first-generation college students through independent and partnered efforts with library and campus partners.
